Jerry I would be interested in sharing information about chavers. My grandmother
Catherine Matilda Whitehead Lee was descended
from an Elizabeth (Betsy) Chavers who married
Richard Kennedy both reputed to be Cherokee, Who came into Henry Co.,, Alabama and were
later enumerated with the Creek who lived in Southern Alabama.Additionally, Two of my aunts married Chavers. Corrine Lee married Archie Chavers and Hattie Linda Lee married Dosey Amos Chavers, both of Escambia County, Alabama
