27 Oct 1758, William EATON to Elias GUOSS for 30 lbs, 213 acres on both sides of Tabbs Creek in CHAVIS (CHAVERS) line which land was granted to EATON 10 May 1755 and is now occupied by John BLACKMAN. (Mary, wife of Wm. EATON, relinquishes dower right.) Wits: William GILES. [p108, Granville Co NC deeds (Deed Bk C, 545, 546)]
