Amelia I saw your reply to Elaine about the Chavers in Al and Tx. I am interested in Andrew Jackson Chavis, and his descendents. I have corresponded with a Doris Newsom of Milton, FL, for some several years and she mention a Andrew Jackson Chavers, and I would like to know if Andrew is related back to a William Chavers/Chavis, born in South Carolina around 1810.
