I'd appreciate feedback on whether I've got this right: Marie Marthe CHAUVIN and Nicolas CHAUVIN DE LAFRENIÈRE are brother and sister. Nicolas is the father of Hyppolite CHAUVIN-DeLAFRENIÈRE who marries Joseph LAMIRANDE. Joseph's sister, Marie Françoise LAMIRANDE marries Marie Marthe CHAUVIN'S 2nd husband Jean Baptiste FLEURY about eight months after Marie Marthe's death in Feb 1728. ... So FLEURY marries the sister (Françoise) of his deceased wife's (Marthe) niece's (Hyppolite) husband (Joseph). No blood relationship, but really convoluted. I'd like to know if I have this right. My head hurts trying to follow it through. I need other eyes to check it out, please? Marie Marthe is my husband's eighth grandmother, according to the FamilyTree programme calculation.
