Would this be the same Michel who married Ann Archambault? If it is the family is hard to "put together" because, unfortunately, many were not making themselves very noticable due to the persecution that they were enduring for their religious beliefs.

Records of Michel's Brother in Law, Urban Tessier state that Michel's wife Anne remarried after Michel admitted that he had left a wife in France. Another source states that Michel was a Protestant (possibly Huguenot?), who was forces out of France, and the protestant faith under threat of death from French authorities. Unfortunately, I cannot find this latter source again, it was from a genealogical Society's publication called "The Melting Pot".

If this isn't the correct Michel,.. sorry for taking up your time.
