Hi Michael !

This Pierre Chauvin (1663-1691) was killed by Iroquois in 1691 and not in 1661. He was buried on June 7, 1691 in the parish of Notre-Dame (Our Lady's), in Montréal. He was the son of Pierre Chauvin (ca 1631-1699) and Marie-Marthe Hautreux (d. 1714).

By the way, I am a descendant of Pierre Chauvin Junior's sister, Marie-Marthe Chauvin (1662-1728).
