Capt. Isaac W. Chauncey, was a lighthouse keeper(assistant, 1867-1868); of Whaleback Lighthouse.

I'm trying to find the ancestry of Capt. Isaac born December 15, 1810 and died Nov. 18, 1871 in Kittery Point, ME. He married Augusta PHILLIPS born July 7, 1815 and died Mar 23, 1855.

Another book lists an Isaac H born in 1844. Maybe an infant who died.

Then some GUNNERSONS are listed in the same family. Perhaps Olive married a GUNNERSON.

Where did Isaac come from. Census says he was born in Maine. Who were his parents?
