Hiram Chancy of Roane County, WV's ancestry

Hello,

I'm trying to determine the ancestry of Hiram Chancy who settled in the Jackson-Roane County area of Virginia now West Virginia, who was born in New York, likely son of Roswell Chauncey. According to secondary sources, Roswell was the son of Israel Chauncey and Elizabeth Huckabone, and Israel the son of Charles Chauncey and Sarah Ingram, and Charles the son of Reverend Issac Chauncey and Sarah Blackleach. I'm basically trying to track down primary source material which would verify whether the generations listed are correct or not. I haven't been able to find anything definitive so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
