My GGGgrandmother Lyrena ? born CT circa 1770 married Ferdinand Grout son of John Grout and Phoebe Spafford.They lived in VT circa 1795,Canada circa 1800 and NY. One son George Chauncey Grout was born circa 1812 in NY. I have not found the name "Chauncey" in either the Grout or Spafford families. Has anyone info on a possible connection?
