I am the great-grandson of Gustave Chaudoir who arrived in London at the turn of the Century. He was a composer and was a conductor at the Brussells Conservatoire of music. He composed for the london Music Halls of that era and was joined by his brother Felix, also another composer.
I am intriuged by the number of Chaudoirs in America since anyone sharing the surname in the UK is a traceable relative.
Can anyone in America trace a link with Gustave or Felix from Belguim at the turn of the 20th century?
