Hi there!
I'm looking for anything on Elijah Ward Pell, his father Frederick Pell and their ancestors of New Rochelle, Westchester, NY. I am trying to link Elijah to the ancestor who married the daughter of Siwanoy indian sachem. They had 6 sons, not sure which one I'm descended from. I know when Elijah was born and when he died and that he and his family (wife and daughters) were aboard the ship Brooklyn that sailed to San Francisco in 1846. I also know Elijah was expostulated from the Latter Day Saints for liscentious behaviour. Sure would like to connect with someone in NY who knows this line of Pells.
