Hello friends!
I am researching my family surnames, Guter/Goterch and other variations; Gutter, Gutterman and soforth.
The family was from Poland. My grt grdfather's name was Joseph Guter. The name was later changed to Goterch in the US. I am unable to find a ship manifest for him that I am sure of.
He can to Mass. and eventually married Helen Gazda, also from Poland. She arrived in 1910, to Manchester, NH. I don't know their marriage date.
Anyone know of the family that I speak of?
