Thanks to some helpful tips, we have concluded that Cynthia Chatham is the daughter of William Chatham, the son of Epps Chatham (Cheatham). William left a will/deed of property to his natural children and to Thomson Westbrook, so Thompson was his son-in-law and is named in place of his daughter, Cynthia. (Franklin Co. GA Deed Book of Indenture (Book # 3) ---7 July 1851)
