Jimmy - William R. & George Washington Chatham appear to have been the sons of JOSEPH Chatham & Martha Smith, who were married 26 Oct. 1848 in Morgan Co. Al. They were residing in Morgan Co. in 1850. Joseph Chatham must have died c.1855-57 & Martha Smith Chatham probably married 2nd. Nathan Boone Foster. Note that George Washington Chatham named a son (who died young) JOSEPH N. Chatham.
