I have a John Chason, of Logan Co., Ky. His parents were Joseph Chasten and Margaret Hall. Not sure of his birthdate. His parents were married 1792 in Duplin Co., NC. If this matches contact me. The Chason, Chasteen, Chasten, names seem to derive from the Chastain family from Buckingham Co., Va.
