Hi,
It has been a while since I worked on the Gage side of my husband's family. I will look and see what I can find.
I know I have run across the names you mentioned.
I went to Okmulgee, OK and played in the dusty archives and found information on deeds for James Richard Chasteen and Leona Chasteen.
Once the 1930 census came out, I found James Richard Chasteen, wife, Leona, sons Charles and Frank and step-daughters, Lucile and Thelms LEWERS.
In searching for a Leona Gage marrying a LEWERS, I found a marriage listed in Antlers, OK.
Also, in the Sallisaw, OK courthouse, I found information on Andrew and Frank Gage.
I have a rather large printout from another GAGE researcher. Will look in there for Andrew and Frank also.
Do you show a LEONA GAGE marrying a Mr. LEWERS in your research?
