Mollie Clara Chasteen, b. Aug 16 1892 in Ar. was a Cherokee, m. John William ENDSLEY on Apr. 28 1912 in Bonham, Fannin Co. Tx., had four children (Alvis Lloyd,b.1915 in Fannin Co.,Tx.;Nora Ellen,b.1920 in Direct,Tx.;Elbert Authur,b.1918 in Monkstown,Fannin Co. Tx; and Mattie Alice Endsley,b. 1923 in Redwater, Bowie Co.,Tx.).Mollie died Nov 15 1976 in Okla. and is buried in the Bee Cemetery.
Mollie's parents were Chester B. Chasteen and her mother was Virginia Kyle.Molly's marriage certificate is spelled 'SHASTEEN', but Mollie siged it "CHASTEEN".
Chester B. CHASTEEN was born in 1866 in Mo. was was full blood Cherokee. He died in Ok. and is buried in the Bee Cemetery in Johnston Co. Ok. Virginia "Jenny" KYLE was born 1868 in Ar, also full blood Cherokee. She died in 1939 in Ok. and is also buried in Bee Cemetery in Johnston Co. Ok.
Mollie's siblings: Walter Clifton, John Houston, Oma, and Mattie Ann Chasteen.
ANY information will be appreciated as I have so little on them. I have plenty of information on the ENDSLEY connections and will be glad to share with others.
