Jason Chastain (b. 1818) was a son of my great-great grandfather John Chastain by his first short marriage to Nancy Coward. This marriage was dissolved and he married Nancy Withrow in 1820. John was a son of Edward Brigand Chastain and Hannah Brown. Jason was married to Mary Rogers and had seven girls and one son.
