You're on the right track, however, if you will go to the Pierre Chastain Family Association web site, there is a lot of information available. If you can prove your connection to the Chastain line, they will send you the entire family tree known today. It goes back to the late 1500's. It's a very interesting web site and with membership, you can get lots of information.
