Here's the info I have. Estienne Chastain is Pierre Sr. father, Born About 1625. Died About 1694. I have more info, too much to post here. Go to my site and see if I have anything you need. http://www.miraclestation.com/tree/elmore.htm
The dates you have can you tell me where you confirmed your info? I'd like a copy of it:)

Also, you might be interested to know that they were French Huguenots. You can find them on their Surname chart. http://www.huguenot.netnation.com/ancestor/default.htm, but no dates are listed:(
