Benjamin Chastain married Ruth Prather on 23 Aug 1846 in Gilmer Co., GA. Children:
Hannah M. Chastain; James Riley Chastain born 1849 married Mary E. Jarrett; John A. Chastain born 1853 married Amanda Walravin;
Louisa C. Chastain born 1855 married a Clayton; Mary E. Chastain born 1858; Theodosia Chastain born 1860 married F. C. Blankenship; Benjamin Chastain born 1862 married Martha Susanne Pendley. Benjamin and Ruth are buried at Liberty Baptist Church Gordon Co., GA. Any information will be appreciated.
