Also interested in the Chastains in Gilmer Co. (and other N. Ga. counties. Was JONATHAN D. CHASTAIN (P.10, B. 1800-10)in 1840 census the son of BENJAMIN CHASTAIN (P. 12 B. 1790S)? Is this the same Benjamin shown in the census of Haywood Co. N.C.?
