I see that you posted this on sept. 1998. You may have already found what you need.
All I can tell you is that my mom said that her dad Andrew Chastain was from rabun gap GA. His dad was Madison Chastain and his mom was Adeline Teague Chastain. My Grandpa Andrew Chastain last lived at country club rd. Pickens, SC and he is buried at Liberty Memorial Gardens in Liberty, SC. His Wife was Missouri Posey Chastain.
