Seek parents of Abraham Chastain b 1813 SC. He married Margaret "Polly" Reece b 1820, daughter of William Uriah Reece and Easter Wood of Pickens county, SC. Abraham and Margaret lived next to her parents on the 1850 Gordon county, GA. Their children were: Benjamin b 1842 SC, William b 1844 SC, Maxwell b 1846 SC and Esther 1848 GA.
Are they the Abraham and Margaret Chastain that sold property to W H Southerland in 1848 in Pickens county, SC? Is Abraham is brother of Jacob and son of Abraham?
