You might try to e-mail Jim Chastain of the Chastain Association or their genealogist. He was extremely helpful to me when I asked if he had any info on John Sherman Simms Richmond and Mary Chastain.

An Estienne Chastain, b March 30, 1625, in Charost, Prov. of Berri, France, was the father of Pierre Chastain.
