Ms Sharp,
I read your post about Abner Chastain of SC, GA and Arkansas and noticed that you said you had books about the Chastain line. I was hoping you could tell me the title of the books.
Also, I'm desperately looking for a daughter born to Abner Chastain and his second wife Miss Elrod. She is unnamed and is estimated to be born around 1823, although my other information indicates that a son, Adam, was born in 1823. I was guessing that the unnamed daughter could be a twin of Adam's that died at birth or that her birthyear could actually be 1825, noting the 4 year gap between Adam and Mary Ann born 1827. If you have access to this information and are willing to share, I'd be most grateful.
