I'm pretty confident of these dates for my ancestor Susan Chastain Berrong, but I haven't investigated the Chastain line previously, and haven't tried to verify a marriage date for Benj and Nancy yet.
Susan Chastain Berrong
B: 12 Oct 1812, Haywood Co., Nc
D: 21 Jan 1885, Towns Co., Georgia
I'm descended through Jesse Berrong and Susan Chastain's daughter Lydia Berrong Corn. Lydia was born on 23 Jul 1836 in Union (Towns) County, Georgia. She died on 1 Jan 1924 in Tahlequah, Ok. She was buried in Blue Springs Cemetery, Cherokee County, Ok.
