Hi we have a Mary Ellen Chastine we have been trying to find more information on. She is on our James Campbell Armstrong's death certificate. James b Salem Indiana on Sept 2, 1892 and d. Nov 9, 1952. It then states Fathers name Richard Campbell (hand wrote in under this is adopted father) and Mother as a Mary Ellen Chastine. James married a Lovettia Cunningham and died in New Madrid County. I have found from another person the 1880 Franklin, Laclede Co., MO Census listed a Mary E. Chastine 18 B. MO, Female, Indiana, (m) MO Servant. I am assuming her mother was from Indiana.... any help or information you have on this would be GREATLY appreciated.
