Hi..don't know if this could help but my husband's maternal grandfather is George Washington Chastain married to Azaline Towery They come from the Morganton, Blue Ridge, and Blairsville area in North Georgia (Towns and Union counties) Let me know if this is a connection...I'll try to get their marriage date but know it would have to be around the very early 1900's.
