Allen has been a popular name used repeatedly in my line since the Civil War. My suspicion is that he might be an older son in my Anderson line, but there seems to be no record of my family in 1850 to prove he is or is not.
Stephen Chastain's son H A was Hilliard Anderson Chastain(1835-1907). He and family members are buried at the Walhala First Baptist Church in Walhala, South Carolina.
