I read your message.I believe that Pinkney and Mary Chastain are the parents of my gfather Frank.My gfather was born in 1884 in SC.His mother name was N M Chastain.Frank is not listed as living with the family in union SC in 1900.The census says there are 4 living children,only 3 are listed.Thank you for replying.Frank mother may have been N(nanci) Mary Chasatin.Hope i find the anser someday soon.We also are looking for the father of Allen Chastain born in Abbyville SC in 1838.He is Pinkney father.Any help appreciated.
