Is Jacques Chastain b. 1598-1600, Charost, France the progenitor of the Rane Chastin/Ann Soblet line? I have some Shasteen on my line believed to be from that line and would like to find someone to do DNA. Yhe Younger line I am also from is doing it on FamilyTreeDNA.com and the Chastain line is also on there. It's not too expensive, depending on the marker test, Maybe $130.00
