COMPETING FOLKLORE - ARCHER Vs WITT

POINT AWARDED ARCHER FOLKLORE
It is realize that Peter & Middy Chastain had son named
Archer Chastain, for which the Archer folklore is
awarded a point.

However, this point is offset by the fact
that no parents have been identified for the alleged
Mildred (Middy) Archer

POINTS AWARDED WITT FOLKLORE
1. Peter Chastain had son named William, perhaps named
in honor of William Witt d1754 in Albemarle Co.. VA.

2. Peter Chastain was Executor for the estate
of William Witt d1754 in Albemarle Co., VA.,
suggesting a close connection, such as son-in-law.

3. Will of William Witt inferred more children than
he named in his will, perhaps a Mildred (Middy) Witt
