Thank you very much for that information Mrs. Williams. Even with it being a different last name on E. J. Ann than I was given I know this is the family because everything else matches up just right. In the 1880 census it has the mother-in-law living with them as Jane Rogers. Would it be possible then that when her husband passed, or whatever it is that happened to make her move in with the kids, that she may have changed to her maided name? I am not very good with this genealogy mess yet but it is all very interesting. Again thank you SO very much for the very helpful information. Supposedly EJ Ann is indian and now it is just a matter of what tribe and where they originated from. I have information on the Chastain's on down from the info you provided if you would like that. Thanks again for your help
