This family line is actually my husband's that I'm researching. His Chastain family breaks off pretty early. His last Chastain relative was Anne Chastain born February 1685 and married to Reverend Claude Phillipe Richbourge.
I have some ascendency information for Anne, but I'm searching for more. Do you have any information on Jehanne Jeanne Laurent, her mother. I have her as born about 1631 in Charost, Province of Berry, France. I don't know any parent information on her though. Anne Chastain's father and Jeanne Laurents' husband was Estienne Chastain born 1625 in Charost, Province of Berry, France. His parents were Jacques Chastain born about 1598 and Jeanne Audet born 1602 both in Charost, Province of Berry, France. Jacques Chastain's father was Estienne Chastain born before 1572 in Bourges France. He died in 1604. I do not know the who his wife and mother of Jacques Chastain is. Do you? I'm also searching for information on the parents of Jeanne Audet.
Oh, the Estienne Chastain born about 1625 was a brother to Dr. Pierre Chastain.
