I'm trying to find any information on my great grandmother's family. My great grandmother was Violet (Chastine) Deeds b. 1908 MO d. 1986 CA. I think she was born in Laclede county Missouri. She married Cecil C. Deeds in or around the Wilson county Kansas area, divorced in the early 30s and then moved to California with my grandmother and my grandmother's siblings, she then married a man with the last name of Johnson. I'm trying to figure out my great grandmother's ancestors. All I know is, her mother was Nancy Ellen Barr and her father (as listed on her death certificate) was Wilbur Chastine. I'm not 100% positive that is her father's actual name. I know she had several brothers and sisters, I think 12 all together. I can not find who Nancy Ellen Barr's parents are and I can not find who Wilbur Chastine's parents are either. I found her (Violet)and Cecil and my grandmother and great aunt in the 1930 census for Wilson county Kansas. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
