I'm trying to find a connection between this James Chasteen and my Chasteen Hood, born in VA about 1800, who named his first son James. Chasteen moved to Crittenden County, KY in the late 1820's, along with a Hallie Hood Talley, and a Jonathan Franklin Hood. In Amelia, VA court records, Hallie's mother is listed as a Patsy Hood. I don't know if this is also Chasteen's mother. Thanks. Dawnene
