I am looking for information on Isabelle Chastain. She is my GGG Grandmother. From what I have been told she is from Scotland. She came to America in the late 1800 she met Robert Ellis Thaxton. They landed in virgina and the town was named Thaxton Va. They later moved to Butts County GA. To geather they had 9 children

Paul Thaxton
William Thomas Thaxton
Claude Thaxton
Robert Ellis Thaxton Jr
Ally Thaxton
Clara Thaxton
Evie Thaxton
Dolly Thaxton
Nettie Thaxton.

Robert and Isabelle were both born in the 1860's

She died Sept 20, 1931 in Jackson Ga.
