Jacob Chastain b. c. 1820 SC m. Nancy ? b. c. 1822 SC. Found in 1860 GA census with these children: Joh R. b. c. 1850 SC; Susannah b. c. 1852 GA; Abraham M. b. c. 1854 GA; Sarah E. b. c. 1856 GA. Would like to find more info on Jacob and his wife Nancy. I am descended from Abraham M. Chastain who was b.1 Apr 1853 d. 14 Jan 1927 in Dalton, Whitfield Co, GA. He m. Susan Mealer dau. of Robert Mealer and Polly ? I found Abraham's death cert and for his parents it says Jake (short for Jacob?) and DR or DK, how do they get that from Nancy? Any help would be appreciated and will share what I know of Abraham of course. Thanks; Cheryl
