Avril here is the family of John and Jean McNab Chasseles. I have copied it from a verbatim typescript prepared from photocopies of the orginal Bible record of John Chasseles (born 1785; died 1867) and his wife Jean McNab Chasseles (born about 1788; died 1866) of Hamilton, Scotland. He lived at 3 Back Row and was a hand loom weaver. The Bible in February 1973 was in the possession of :Mr Augus McNab Robertson, 61 Earlspark Avenue, Newlands, Glasgow G43-2HE, Scotland. John, Jean and several of their descendants rest in the Bent Cemetery at Hamilton, Scotland. Other relatives appear to have been buried at Brandon Kirk.
