Hi Bob, I think I have the same Chasse line as you do.
My gg grandfather was Cyprien Chasse married to Philomene
Lamotte. My ggrandfather was Pierre(Peter)b.1865 in South
bridge,MA. I have Cyprien's father listed as Noe Chasse
and his mother Aurist(no maiden name. Cyprien was born in
Canada(no town yet) in 1841 and Philomene b. 1839. I also
have the marriage date of 11/25/1863 Southbridge,MA.
Cyprien and Peter eventually moved to Willimantic,Ct.
but Cyprien must have moved back to Griswold(Jewett City CT.) as I have that as his place of death 1/25/1911.
If you have any more info please let me know.My grandmother
was Amelia Chasse (Peter's daughter.) Hope this helps.
