There was a Rosario J Chasse (from Waterville) who married a Ella Lamontagne (she was from Winslow) on Saturday 12-28-1940.
There was an Ella Chasse which died on 26 Apr 2000 (born 3 Feb 1909) SSN 084-05-7333, last residence was 08879 South Amboy, Middlesex, NJ. Did Ella keep the Chasse name after her husbands death or did she remarry?
I know you said Rosario died - but I found a Rosario Clark who died 25 Sep 1991 (born 09 Oct 1910) SSN 139-32-5988 - last residence in NJ. I only note this entry because the Ella Chasse (above) also died in NJ and was oddly close in age.
How did the children end up with the lastname clark if the kids were from Ella & Rosario?
