Thank you for your reply, Ellen. Moses, Jr. may be a cousin of my line. My great-grandfather was named Cyprien (also spelled Seplean) Chasse. He was married in St. Mary's Church in Southbridge, MA on 25 Nov 1863 to Philomene Lamotte. The best man at that wedding was PETER CHASSE. There must be some link there to the line you have. That sneaky little devil changed the name to HUNT. That of course is what Chasse means in French. These genealogy puzzles do get interesting, don't they. Thanks again for your reply.
