I am researching the Chasse family. Surname was Chassey until changed around 1708. If this is the same line then there is Jean Chassey M Mary-Louise Angelique Ancelin 1 Aug 1757 in Kamarousa Que. Jean and Mary Louise had a son Joseph b 21 Apr 1762. I was told by my Uncle that He was married 4 times and has 26 children. This I'm still working on! Jean Chassey son of Sebastien who is son of Jean Chassey who is son of Sebastien Chassey and Jeanne Pauthier. Sound familiar?
