My grandmother's maiden name was Chasse, and her family was the one having the Super Reunion in Maine in, I think, 1995. My mother was born in Madawaska, ME. She is the daughter of Albert Lavigne and Cecile Chasse. There is a Chasse family geneology book that I have recently come upon, which follows the Chasses back to Francois Chassey in France in 1580. Cecile was the daughter of Pierre Chasse and Clarice Dufour. She is not listed in the geneology book, but her brother, Paul, is. I am fairly certain that we are from the same Chasses.
