I haven't checked those sites recently but I suspect they are cites where the content changes from time to time. When I last checked them, they were filled with the Chason name. One contained a newspaper account about one Joel Chason who is the head of the youth movement in Israel. The others were about the name itself and various applications of it. We southern Chasons can deny it until (censored by GenForum) freezes over but Chason IS a Jewish name --- ask any rabbi! I learned that many years ago when I auditioned for and got the job as soloist in a Jewish Temple. I got the job by audition but afterwards I had to fill out a standard employment form which asks the maiden name of your mother. The rabbi who hired me looked it over and said, "I thought you said your were Presbyterian but I see you are one of us." I asked what he meant and he told me that Chason was a Jewish name and that my job was very appropriate as the Chasons got their name from their occupation -- they were the Cantors and keepers of the tabernacle in the synogue. I'm sure that explains the swarthy complections of most of the Chasons in my family.
