I came across the will of Peleg Wood Chase of Barnwell District, SC, which he signed 26 Feb. 1810 and was recorded on 25 May 1810. He names his wife Ann to who he left all his property and named her and his "trusty friend" Charles McClellan as executors.

The Will was witnessed by Geo. Bruton, Senr., Slocum Church, and Sion Horn.

My interest is in George Bruton.

Does anyone know of Peleg Wood Chase? Any information on him may help me with my research on George Bruton.
