My g-g-grandmother was Harriet or Henrietta Charron, who died in Alburgh, VT 14 January 1887. Her death record says she was born in Alburgh 5 June 1839. She was married to Lewis or Louie Mitchell, son of Orrin and Adeline Mitchell, sometime around 1861. Lewis might be listed instead as Louie Circe, son of Joseph-Laurent Circe-dit-St-Michel and Adelaide Petit (the family name was Anglicized when they crossed the border from Quebec). By any chance might Harriet/Henrietta be related to your St. Albans Charron family?
A census record says her mother was Angeline Abear, while the death record says her parents were David and Harriet Sharron, but I don't know about the accuracy of either of these.
