the village of whitworth is not very big to my knowledge we were the only family with the charnley name they lived in whitworth from sometime in the 1800s levi was from a big family but they had a fall out. he left to marry a woman called olive walkden and moved to halifax in yorkshire. they had 3 children jack , alice and herbert. Levis brothers/sisters names are not known to me thats why I am interested in finding out more but I have no one left alive to tell me the full story. even alice charnley remains a mystery she left under a cloud I wish I could help more thanks for your interest.
