I am trying to establish when and where David Charlesworth was born and when and where he died.
He married a "Mary" on 1.2.1799 at St Mary's, Lowgate, Hull. I believe this lady was a Mary Foster, of a Barton on Humber family and who was in service in Hull.
David settled in Barton on Humber. I believe he might have been widowered, because there is reference to a David marrying a Mary Smith at St Mary's Church, Barton on Humber on 16.3.1813. If this is correct then he had a total of 7 children.
I have found no record of his death.
Nor can I find where he was born. I have my suspicions that he was related to a family of Charlesworths at Wrawby, Lincs, but there is certainly no record of anyone called David Charlesworth in the church records at Wrawby.
There are no Charlesworths in the earlier Barton on Humber church registers.
